When are the Cambridge November 2026 exams?

The Cambridge November 2026 written exams run from Monday 28 September to Friday 13 November 2026 in both zone 3 and zone 4, according to the final timetables Cambridge has published. Practical and speaking tests have their own test windows, set out in the timetable PDFs, and schools confirm the exact sessions.

Download the zone 4 timetable for Pakistan, the UAE and Oman, or the zone 3 timetable for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. The zone 4 timetable includes an evening session as well as morning and afternoon sessions, so check the start time of every paper, not just the date. All zones are listed on Cambridge's timetables page.

When are Cambridge November 2026 results released?

Cambridge releases November 2026 results on 7 January 2027 for AS & A Level and on 14 January 2027 for IGCSE and O Level, at 06:00 GMT/UTC+1 as stated on Cambridge International's results page. Schools release results to their own students, and private candidates check online.

In Pakistan, the British Council's results page for private candidates explains that results are checked through Cambridge's online candidate results service, using login details the British Council provides. Grade threshold tables for the series appear on Cambridge's website; see our grade thresholds guide for how to read them.

For comparison, the June 2026 results came out on 11 August 2026 for AS & A Level and 18 August 2026 for IGCSE and O Level, according to Cambridge's June 2026 key dates.

When are the June 2027 exams and results?

Cambridge had not published the June 2027 timetable, entry deadlines or results dates when we checked on 4 October 2026, so no confirmed June 2027 date exists yet. We will add the dates to this guide when Cambridge publishes them. Until then, plan around the pattern from the June 2026 series, and confirm everything officially.

In the June 2026 cycle, the key dates were:

Key date (June 2026 series, for comparison)Date
Estimated entries10 October 2025
Final entries21 February 2026
Late entries17 April 2026
Results (AS & A Level)11 August 2026
Results (IGCSE and O Level)18 August 2026

The same key dates showed the June 2026 final timetable being released in late October of the previous year. If the June 2027 cycle follows the same pattern, schools will see the final timetable in late October 2026, but treat that as a pattern, not a promise.

What are the registration deadlines for private candidates in Pakistan?

For the November 2026 series, British Council Pakistan's normal private-candidate deadline was Thursday 6 August 2026 and the late-stage and retake deadline was Thursday 3 September 2026, according to its registration page. A deadline means registered and paid; later payments attract an extra late fee.

Other points from the same page, checked on 4 October 2026:

  • Requests for modified papers closed on 29 June 2026, and access arrangements on 21 July 2026.
  • Exam fees are shown only inside the British Council's registration system, because they vary by board, subject and series.
  • Withdrawing from a subject costs PKR 1,500 per subject.
  • The British Council had not yet listed May/June 2027 private-candidate deadlines.

Our step-by-step guide to registering as a private candidate in Pakistan covers documents, option codes and practicals. In the Gulf, school students are usually entered by their school; private candidates should contact the British Council or an approved centre in their country.

When are Pearson Edexcel International results in 2027?

Pearson releases International GCSE and International A Level results to students on 21 January, 4 March, 12 August and 19 August 2027, depending on the series and qualification, according to its 2026–2027 key dates. Centres receive results one day earlier, and Pearson publishes grade boundaries on results day.

Pearson seriesQualificationResults to students
October 2026International A Level21 January 2027
November 2026International GCSE21 January 2027
January 2027International A Level4 March 2027
June 2027International A Level12 August 2027
June 2027International GCSE19 August 2027

Pearson's entry deadlines in the same document are 16 October 2026 for January 2027 International A Level and 21 March 2027 for the June 2027 international series. British Council Pakistan sets its own earlier deadlines for private candidates; for January 2027 they are listed on its registration page.

How should you plan revision around these dates?

Plan revision backwards from your first paper, not from results day. For November 2026 candidates the first written papers start on 28 September 2026, so most of the final revision has already happened; for June 2027 candidates, a six-month plan starting in late autumn leaves time for the full syllabus and timed past papers.

A simple timeline for a June 2027 candidate:

  1. October to December 2026: close topic gaps with topical past-paper questions for your syllabus code.
  2. January to February 2027: move to full papers; check the June 2027 timetable as soon as Cambridge publishes it.
  3. February to March 2027: Ramadan is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, with Eid al-Fitr around 10 March, according to timeanddate.com; adjust study times rather than stopping.
  4. April to May 2027: timed mocks every week, marked strictly against the mark schemes.

Our guide to preparing for O Level in six months has a week-by-week plan, and our exam dates page lists series dates for every board we teach. After results, students heading to Pakistani universities usually apply for IBCC equivalence.

Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain are in zone 3. Each zone has its own timetable, so always download the timetable for your zone and check it against your Statement of Entry.

When will Cambridge June 2027 results be released?

Cambridge had not published June 2027 results dates on 4 October 2026, so no confirmed date exists yet. For comparison, June 2026 results came out on 11 August 2026 for AS & A Level and 18 August 2026 for IGCSE and O Level. In the June 2026 cycle, Cambridge's key dates scheduled the final timetable for late October of the year before.

Can I still enter for the November 2026 series?

Probably not as a new private candidate in Pakistan: British Council Pakistan's late-stage and retake deadline for November 2026 was 3 September 2026, and Cambridge's own late-entry deadline for schools was 21 September 2026. Contact the British Council or your school directly to ask about any remaining options, and plan for the June 2027 series instead.

What should I do after O and A Level results in Pakistan?

After results, students in Pakistan who apply to local colleges, universities or medical colleges usually need IBCC equivalence of their O and A Level grades. IBCC accepts applications through its online equivalence portal, by walk-in appointment or by courier. Our IBCC equivalence calculator gives an unofficial estimate before you apply.
