Online tuition in Lahore

Heights International Academy teaches Lahore students live online, one-to-one or in small groups, for O Level, A Level, FSc / Intermediate and Matric. Classes are scheduled in Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, UTC+5), after school and at weekends, fees are shown in PKR, and the first class is free.

Lahore has a large number of Cambridge schools alongside Punjab board schools and colleges that prepare students for Matric and FSc. Many students already spend evenings at academies on Main Boulevard, Jail Road or in Johar Town, and the travel adds up. Online tuition lets them study with a specialist from home instead. It also helps in winter, when smog has led the Punjab government to close schools or move them to online classes for periods in recent years.

Where do Lahore students sit their exams?

Exam centres and registration

Cambridge and Edexcel school candidates sit exams at their registered school. Private candidates enter through the British Council, which has an office in Lahore and confirms venues with each series. BISE Lahore private candidates submit admission forms to the board within its published schedule.

School calendar

Punjab schools usually break for summer from June to mid-August, with dates confirmed by the provincial government each year. Winter holidays fall in late December, and smog-related closures or online-learning periods have occurred in November in recent years. BISE Lahore Matric exams generally start in March, with Intermediate exams following in spring.

Questions from Lahore families

How much does A Level tuition cost in Lahore?

A Level tuition fees for Lahore students are shown in PKR on our pricing page, and they are the same wherever in the city you live. A Level is priced at a higher tier than O Level because the content is more demanding. The total depends on one-to-one or group format and the number of weekly sessions, which we help you decide.

Should I choose a home tutor or online tuition in Lahore?

Online tuition usually gives Lahore families more choice of specialist tutors and saves travel time between school, academy and home. A home tutor offers in-person supervision, which can help younger children stay focused. We only teach online, so we suggest a short first lesson to see how your child responds before committing to a longer plan.

Can online classes continue when schools close for smog in Lahore?

Yes, our classes are online, so they carry on as normal when schools close for smog or switch to remote learning. Many students use the extra time at home for past-paper practice with their tutor. If school closures change your child's timetable, tell us and we can move lessons to earlier slots in the day.

Do you follow the Punjab textbooks for BISE Lahore students?

Yes, for BISE Lahore Matric and Intermediate students our tutors teach from the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board books that the board's papers are based on. Lessons cover the textbook exercises, likely short questions and long-answer practice from past BISE papers. Let us know your class and group, such as pre-medical or pre-engineering, when you contact us.

Where do private candidates in Lahore register for O Level exams?

Private candidates in Lahore register for O Level exams through the British Council, which runs an office in the city. Registration opens months before each May/June and October/November series, and late entries cost extra. Check the British Council Pakistan website for current fees and deadlines, then share your exam series with your tutor so the plan fits it.
