Online tuition in Islamabad

Heights International Academy teaches Islamabad students live online, one-to-one or in small groups, for O Level, A Level, Matric and FSc / Intermediate. Classes are scheduled in Pakistan Standard Time (PKT, UTC+5), after school and at weekends, fees are shown in PKR, and the first class is free.

Islamabad's schools mostly follow the Federal Board (FBISE) for Matric and HSSC, while many private schools teach Cambridge O and A Level and a smaller number offer the IB Diploma. The city is home to diplomatic and international families, and students often move between systems when a parent is posted in or out of Pakistan. Online tuition helps them keep continuity with one tutor. Families in sectors from F-6 to G-13, and in Bahria Town or DHA, also avoid the evening drive along Srinagar Highway.

Where do Islamabad students sit their exams?

Exam centres and registration

Cambridge and Edexcel school candidates sit exams at their registered school. Private candidates register through the British Council, which has an office in Islamabad. FBISE private candidates apply to the Federal Board through its online admission system within the published dates.

School calendar

Islamabad Capital Territory schools take summer vacations from around June to mid-August and winter holidays in late December, with dates set by the federal education authorities. FBISE SSC and HSSC annual exams are held in spring. Cambridge students sit the May/June or October/November series, so plan revision around whichever applies.

Questions from Islamabad families

Do you teach FBISE Matric and HSSC students in Islamabad?

Yes, we teach FBISE students in SSC (Classes 9 and 10) and HSSC (Classes 11 and 12) across science and humanities subjects. Our tutors work from the federal textbooks and FBISE past papers, including the board's objective (MCQ) and subjective sections. Tell us your class, group and subjects, and we will match a tutor who knows the FBISE paper pattern.

Can you help IB students in Islamabad?

Yes, we tutor IB Diploma students online, including Maths Analysis and Approaches, sciences, Economics and English, plus support with internal assessments and the extended essay. IB students in Islamabad are relatively few, so a specialist tutor can be hard to find locally. We match tutors who know the current IB subject guides and assessment criteria.

What is the fee for O Level tuition in Islamabad?

O Level tuition fees for Islamabad students are listed in PKR on our pricing page. The cost depends on the number of subjects, how many sessions a week you book and whether you choose one-to-one or a small group. Since all classes are online, there are no travel charges, and fees are the same across Pakistan.

My child is moving from Cambridge to FBISE. Can you help with the switch?

Yes, we can help students move between Cambridge and FBISE, which is common when families relocate. The subjects overlap but the textbooks, question styles and marking differ, and FBISE includes compulsory subjects such as Urdu and Islamiyat or Ethics. A tutor can map what your child has already covered and fill the gaps before the board exam.

Is a home tutor in Islamabad better than online tuition?

Neither is better for every child; online tuition gives wider access to specialist tutors, while a home tutor gives in-person supervision. Many Islamabad families choose online lessons because they fit around school and travel times and let parents watch the lesson. We teach online only, so we never send tutors to your home.
