Online tutors in Riyadh

Heights International Academy teaches Riyadh students live online, one-to-one or in small groups, for IGCSE, A Level, AP and IB. Classes are scheduled in Arabia Standard Time (AST, UTC+3), after school and at weekends, fees are shown in SAR, and the first class is free.

Riyadh is a large, fast-growing capital where many families live in compounds or neighbourhoods some distance from their children's international school, and evening traffic on King Fahd Road and the Northern Ring Road is heavy. Online tutoring lets students study with a specialist without another drive across the city. The city's international schools teach British, American, IB, Indian and Pakistani curricula, so families often need a tutor for one exact syllabus. Online lessons also continue unchanged during summer travel abroad.

Where do Riyadh students sit their exams?

Exam centres and registration

Students at international schools sit exams at their own school if it is a registered centre. Private candidates register for Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and OxfordAQA exams through the British Council in Saudi Arabia, which has a presence in Riyadh. SAT and AP centres are listed by the College Board.

School calendar

Riyadh international schools usually run from late August to June, often in two or three terms. Public schools follow the Ministry's two-semester calendar from 2025–26. Ramadan brings shorter school days, and most tutoring then moves to after iftar. Long summers suit intensive catch-up courses online.

Questions from Riyadh families

Do you offer IGCSE tutoring in Riyadh?

Yes, we offer online IGCSE tutoring for Riyadh students in subjects including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Tell us whether your school follows Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel and the tier your child is entered for. Our tutors then work through the specification and past papers, focusing on the topics your child finds hardest.

Is online tutoring better than a home tutor in Riyadh?

Online tutoring suits many Riyadh families better than a home tutor because it avoids arranging visits across a large, busy city and gives a wider choice of specialists. A home tutor offers in-person supervision for children who need it. We teach online only, and parents can watch any lesson.

Can you help Riyadh students with AP and SAT for US universities?

Yes, we help Riyadh students at American-curriculum schools with AP courses such as Calculus, Physics and Chemistry, and with SAT preparation. Tutors use College Board course frameworks and official practice material. Tell us your target universities and test dates, and we will plan lessons backwards from them.

How much does online tutoring cost in Riyadh?

Online tutoring fees for Riyadh students are listed in SAR on our pricing page and are the same across Saudi Arabia. The cost depends on the curriculum level, the number of weekly sessions and whether you choose one-to-one or a small group. There is no travel cost, since every lesson is online.

Can tutoring continue during Ramadan in Riyadh?

Yes, tutoring continues during Ramadan, and most Riyadh families move lessons to after iftar when students are more alert. Shorter school days also leave more time in the evening. Tell us your preferred Ramadan timings a week or two in advance, and we will adjust the schedule with your tutor.
