Online tutors in Dammam

Heights International Academy teaches Dammam students live online, one-to-one or in small groups, for IGCSE, A Level, IB and AP. Classes are scheduled in Arabia Standard Time (AST, UTC+3), after school and at weekends, fees are shown in SAR, and the first class is free.

Dammam forms one metropolitan area with Al Khobar and Dhahran in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, and families often live in one city while children attend school in another. The region has a long-established expatriate community linked to the energy sector, with international schools teaching British, American, IB, Indian and Pakistani curricula. Online tutoring saves the drive between the three cities after school and gives access to specialist tutors, which is helpful for less common A Level, IB or AP subjects.

Where do Dammam students sit their exams?

Exam centres and registration

Students sit exams at their school where it is a registered centre, and some Eastern Province schools act as Pearson Edexcel centres. Private candidates register through the British Council in Saudi Arabia; confirm the Eastern Province venue when you register.

School calendar

Eastern Province international schools usually run from late August to June. Public schools follow the Ministry's two-semester calendar from 2025–26. Ramadan brings shorter school days, and tutoring often moves after iftar. Summer is very hot, which makes online lessons a practical way to keep studying.

Questions from Dammam families

Do you tutor students in Dammam, Al Khobar and Dhahran?

Yes, we tutor students across Dammam, Al Khobar and Dhahran, because every lesson is online and location within the Eastern Province makes no difference. Students need a laptop or tablet and a steady connection. Tell us your curriculum, grade and subjects, and we will match a tutor who knows that syllabus.

Can you help with A Level sciences for Dammam students?

Yes, we help Dammam students with A Level Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths for Cambridge and Pearson Edexcel. Tutors teach to the specification and practise past-paper questions, including practical-skills questions that many students find hard. Tell us your board and exam series so we can plan the course.

How much does online tutoring in Dammam cost?

Online tutoring fees for Dammam students are listed in SAR on our pricing page and match fees elsewhere in Saudi Arabia. The total depends on level, number of weekly sessions and one-to-one or small-group format. There are no travel charges, which helps families spread across the Eastern Province.

Is online tutoring better than a home tutor in Dammam?

Online tutoring is often more practical than a home tutor in Dammam, because families do not need to arrange visits across Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran. It also widens the choice of specialist tutors. A home tutor gives in-person supervision; we teach online only and never visit homes.

Do you support IB Diploma students in the Eastern Province?

Yes, we support IB Diploma students in the Eastern Province in Maths, sciences, Economics and English, along with internal assessment and extended essay planning. Tutors follow the current IB subject guides. Tell us your subjects and whether they are SL or HL, and we will match a tutor with IB experience.
